Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., raised questions during a radio interview today about whether the Obama administration was smuggling guns to jihadist rebels in a possible “international Fast and Furious” that the White House has tried to cover up.
Speaking on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio, Paul said the guns scheme could help explain the reason for the coordinated attacks against the U.S. special mission and CIA annex in Benghazi last September.
Stated Paul: “There is also some concern about whether or not Libyan arms are being ferried through Turkey into Syrian rebels and whether or not that had something to do with the cover-up that came out of the administration when the administration was saying that, ‘Oh, this attack in Benghazi had something to do with a film.’

Michigan
Education Association President Steve Cook said his union will use “any legal
means at our disposal” to combat members who want to leave the union.
Cook
made his statement in
a letter he sent to MEA local presidents, board members and staff. MEA
Spokesman Doug Pratt didn’t respond to a request for comment.
The
MEA said if members want to resign, they have to do so in
August, "and only August,” Cook wrote.
"We
are sticking to that," Cook wrote. "Members who indicate they wish to
resign membership in March, or whenever, will be told they can only do so in
August." he wrote, adding that the union will take legal action
against members or fee payers who chose not to pay their dues/service fees.
Patrick
Wright, senior legal analyst for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, said
there is a Michigan Employment Relations Commission ruling that supports
the MEA's hardline stance.
"I
don’t think it makes a ton of sense," Wright said. "The union's

FirNullification Resolutionst in the Nation: Beaufort County, NC Passes Gun Law
While a
number of states are currently considering legislation to nullify federal gun
laws, rules, acts, orders and regulations, and various sheriffs around the
country are issuing notice that they will not enforce any such federal laws, a
new grassroots undercurrent could be building to support those efforts. Local
governments nullifying unconstitutional federal acts. Today, Beaufort County, North Carolina became the first in the country to do so. The board of commissioners passed a nullification resolution in support of the 2nd Amendment. The vote was unanimous. The resolution reads, in part:
The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners calls upon the Governor and General Assembly of the State of North Carolina to immediately pass an act to nullify the implementation within the State of North Carolina of any Federal law, executive order or regulations restricting the right to keep and bear arms
It
