Should President Barack Obama decide to make good on his threat to enact gun regulations through executive order, Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) says he may, among other actions, file articles of impeachment against the commander-in-chief.
“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement on Monday.

“He keeps telling us he won reelection, congratulations,” Levin said. “But guess what? The Constitution wasn’t up for election…he has to comply with it too.”

In the aftermath of the Newtown, Conn., massacre, a renewed focus on mental health services has put the unfinished law back in the spotlight. Democratic Sens. Al Franken of Minnesota and Tom Harkin of Iowa appealed to Biden last week to include final guidance on the mental health law among recommendations to respond to the shooting that left 20 schoolchildren dead.

The United States is concerned about China's expanding ability to disrupt the most sensitive U.S. military and intelligence satellites, as Beijing pursues its expanded ambitions in space, according to multiple sources in the U.S. government and outside space experts.
A classified U.S. intelligence assessment completed late last year analyzed China's increasing activities in space and mapped out the growing vulnerability of U.S. satellites that provide secure military communications, warn about enemy missile launches and provide precise targeting coordinates, said the sources, who were not authorized to speak publicly.
